A “capsule suitcase” is a small collection of versatile pieces that mix and match easily, giving you plenty of outfit options without packing your entire closet. Down below, I share with you my favorite tips on how to create a capsule wardrobe for vacation.

Start with a Simple Color Palette

The secret to a successful capsule wardrobe is choosing pieces that all work together. Start by selecting a color base such as:

White, black, denim, olive or navy. Then add one or two accent colors for variety.
