Everyone loves a good comfy sneaker! Sneakers look great with straight leg jeans! Now, let me first clarify I’m not talking athletic or gym shoes, but a nice plain low-profile white sneaker with a little platform. These babies go a long way. Try cuffing your jeans to show some ankle or wear as normal – either way these are going to look good on you!

This could be an entire blog post in itself since they’re so many different types of boots (comment below if you’d like to see it). For the sake of this article, I’ll stick with ankle boots for straight leg jeans. I suggest a tighter ankle fit with a looser pant (try a sock booties). Let’s talk toe shape. I recommend a pointy toe since it give the illusion of a longer leaner leg. The height of the ankle bootie doesn’t matter. If you go with a tighter ankle bootie your ankle won’t get lost if your straight leg jeans happen to fall over the top of the boot. If you’re a fan of showing off a little ankle try cuffing your jeans.

At least for me it’s the best way to hide dirty hair (especially when I need to run to the grocery store and hope I don’t run into someone, lol). Tired of the neutral trend and want to add a little color in your life? I don’t know about you, but I was loving the neutral outfit trend, because it’s a great way to extend your closet. Needless to say, I’m not afraid of a little color! And if you know me, I love PINK! I’ve looked around and bubble gum pink, fuchsia and hot pinks are IN! This bubble gum pink lace dress would look really cute with a straw hat. Don’t think you look good in pink? That’s ok, try another bold color to complement your skin tone this Spring! I dare you. 3 Simple Ways to Knot and Style a Basic T-Shirt – Step by Step

Looking for ways to elevate your classic t-shirt style. Try tying a t-shirt knot! It’s a great alternative to tucking into pants or skirts. Here’s three simple methods:

How to Tie a side knot t shirt!

I love wearing this knotted-T style to the gym or out running errands with biker shorts or high waisted mom jeans. It gives my look something a little extra without having to try too hard. Here’s one of the simplest methods.

Step 1: Pull the bottom side part of your t-shirt out.
Step 2: Twist and make a simple knot
Step 3: Pull the tail out and cap over the knot.

Tie a side-knot with colored hair elastics!

This method is perfect for the fitted T-shirts that doesn’t have a lot of extra fabric. By tying it with a rubber band or hair tie you are doing the least amount of damage to your shirt (by avoiding the tugging and twisting). Use the same color rubber band/hair tie as the shirt for the ultimate hiding tactic.

Step 1: Pull out the bottom side part of your T-shirt out
Step 2: Wrap the rubberband or hair elastic around the bottom
Step 3: Make a bun knot
Step 4: Blouse the knot around the band to hide

Crop an oversized t-shirt or sweatshirt!

Want the crop top look without cutting your clothes? I actually prefer to buy my sweatshirts and t-shirts oversize for comfort, but will do this method when I want a more fitted stylish look for going out. Throw a leather jacket over top and you’re good to go! Try this simple method below.

Step 1: Take the bottom edges of your t-shirt or sweatshirt
Step 2: Fold the sweatshirt inward.
Step 3: Tuck evenly into bra all the way around

Wearing a crop top sweater or t-shirt with your jeans is easy and comfortable. You’re sure to feel more comfy with a more relaxed fit. You can forget about having to jump to pull up your pants, or worrying about what tuck you need to perfect.

What shoes to wear with Levis mom jeans in winter.

One of the biggest questions is “what type of shoes to wear with your high waisted denim jeans?”, Tucking them into tall boots just doesn’t look right with the relaxed look. I suggest wearing some leopard mules or any shoe that hits right above the crop length of the jean (I like ankle black sock booties). If the jeans are ripped, opt for a more casual shoe like sherpa brown boots or fur mules/loafers. For a more dressed up look style with heels.
